Digging through my journals I found the following story:
"Nine months ago I had the privilege to have had a baby born in the back seat of my airplane (Click Here to Read About It). How thrilling and honoring it is. It’s a day to snap photos and tell stories. Today a little baby died in my arms. No hero, no pictures. Just a young weeping Indian mother who lost her four-month-old baby.
"What a strange day it has been. It started out with strange weather and phantom radio calls that lead to an hour of extra flight. I ended up making it back from my flight at about 2:00 and grabbed a bite to eat. I arrived at the office after Jon landed with the sick baby and his mother. I didn’t even notice her sitting off to one side with here baby in her arms. She was waiting for a ride to the hospital that never came.
